Kruger Riverside Lodge offers an unforgettable accommodation experience, where luxury meets the wild African Bush. It is a common sight for animals like Zebra, Giraffe, Wildebeest or Kudu to walk around the property grounds and even coming in for a closer look. The lodge is situated in Marloth Park Conservancy, which borders the Kruger National Park, one of the largest game reserves in South Africa. The lodge overlooks the Crocodile River where the African Big 5 can be spotted from our balcony, and is situated 18 km from Crocodile Bridge entrance to the Kruger National Park.


Accommodation is offered in 5 Luxurious Rooms with air-conditioning, a flat-screen television with DSTV satelite channels and an en-suite bathroom. The lodge offers a swimming pool, guest lounge and 2 balconies. One balcony faces the swimming pool, and the second balcony faces the Crocodile River in the Kruger National Park, where guests can enjoy a unique view into the Park and over the River. Having a night cap while listening to a lion’s roar is the perfect way to end a day in the bush. Our guests are treated to a delicious breakfast and dinner outside on the patio, and daily game drives are available on our own Safari Vehicles into the Kruger National Park.


Kruger Riverside Lodge is ideal for day trips to the Kruger National Park, Mozambique or Swaziland. Marloth Park is a 3,000 hectare wildlife conservancy and holiday town situated on the southern border of the Kruger National Park, between Malelane and Komatipoort in Mpumalanga. Visitors have access to a variety of restaurants, shops and a fuel station. Marloth Park is a great destination for unique wildlife experiences.


Kruger Riverside Lodge has the added luxury of a 40 KVA Standby Generator, which will keep the lodge running throughout any unexpected power failures. Our guests will therefore always have Aircon, TV, Wifi and all important needs covered to ensure the luxurious, unforgettable experience at Kruger Riverside Lodge never ends.

KRUGER NATIONAL PARK



Kruger National Park is one of Africa’s largest game reserves. Its high density of wild animals includes the Big 5: lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants and buffalos. Hundreds of other mammals make their home here, as do diverse bird species such as vultures, eagles and storks. Mountains, bush plains and tropical forests are all part of the landscape.



BUSH BRAAI



Entering the park, you will embark on an Afternoon Sunset Safari that will take you to the EXCLUSIVE Bush Braai Site. Here guests will enjoy a welcoming drink around the fire and experience the African sunset. Enjoy a Bush Dinner under the African skies with nature the backdrop and the sounds of Kruger in the background. After dinner guests will depart with the guide on a Night drive and make their way back to Crocodile Bridge to exit the park.You will spend approximately 2 hours at the Bush Braai site. Our site is surrounded by an electric fence that will keep most wild animals at bay.



Leopard Creek Country Club



Innovative architectural and landscaping techniques ensure that the Leopard Creek golf course and living areas are naturally protected from animals, while lakes and small streams have been diverted through the development to create scenic vistas and interesting golf strategies. Extensive use has been made of water features and sightings of crocodile, hippo, antelope, buffalo and elephant are commonplace, on the course or in the Kruger Park bordering the course.

SWAZILAND (eSwatini)



Swaziland, or eSwatini as it is is now known, is a small, landlocked monarchy in southern Africa, is known for its wilderness reserves and festivals showcasing traditional Swazi culture. Marking its northeastern border with Mozambique and stretching down to South Africa, the Lebombo Mountains are a backdrop for Mlawula Nature Reserve’s many hiking trails. Nearby Hlane Royal National Park is home to diverse wildlife including lions, hippos and elephants.



MAPUTO



Maputo, the lush capital of Mozambique, sits on the shore of the Indian Ocean. Founded as a port town by the Portuguese, the influence of travelers and traders from Africa, Asia, and Europe, has made the city a diverse and lively metropolis. The area is famous for its prawns in peri-peri sauce, a spicy concoction made from an especially hot African chili pepper. Calm down your taste buds afterwards with a beer at one of the many bars and nightclubs in the Fere de Populare neighborhood.



BLYDE RIVER CANYON - DAY TRIP



Blyde River Canyon is a site of Natural Phenomena. It is the largest Green Canyon in the world and it stretches over 26 Kilometres and is over 800 meters deep. The Blyde River Canyon is located in Mpumalanga on the northern parts of the Drakensberg Escarpment. There are many treasures within the canyon like God's Window, various waterfalls, potholes and caves. This makes for an unforgettable day trip.



THE TIN SHACK RESTAURANT



The restaurant’s zinc walls and tented roof have become a firm favourite among many residents and visitors since its establishment at the Marlothi Shopping Centre eight years ago. The renovated restaurant features a tranquil and romantic fine-dining restaurant on the ground floor and a more informal sports café on the deck upstairs.
